Who Are We?
Originally created as the Vera Tran Memorial Foundation, the foundation gave out their first scholarship to honor Vera's memory in 2003. From that experience, the foundation saw a need for a common infrastructure that individuals and corporations could use to easily create and fund scholarships for Vietnamese American students.
In 2007, we decided to expand our goals to help support other scholarships and renamed the organization to the Vietnamese American Scholarship Foundation (VASF).
