The Vietnamese American Scholarship Foundation (VASF) has been helping Vietnamese American students pursue their educational dreams since 2003. The primary goal of VASF is to create a common infrastructure where students can search and apply for scholarships, and to bring together donors and the students who most need their help.
With a portfolio of four scholarships and plans to add more scholarships in more cities and states, VASF is committed to helping meet the financial needs of Vietnamese Americans seeking higher education.
VASF, a recognized 501(c)(3), through joint collaboration with other scholarships, strives to:
- Assist Vietnamese American students in their search for scholarships and financial aid information
- Create a common application for Vietnamese American students seeking to apply for scholarships
- Develop a large and diverse applicant pool – ensuring that scholarships go to the most deserving
- Establish an infrastructure to connect donors Vietnamese American students who are in need of aid
- Provide the Vietnamese American community with a tax-deductible means of investing in future Vietnamese American leaders
